Kimber Ludiker is a 4th generation fiddler who first put bow to string at the age of 3. Now 25, she is the current National Old Time Fiddle champion, and tours with An Dochas and the Haran Irish Dancers, Michael Londra (previously of Broadway’s Riverdance), and Della Mae, the Boston based all-girl bluegrass band. She has also shared the stage with musicians such as Darol Anger & Mike Marshall, Hanneke Cassel, Sara Watkins, and Laurie Lewis.
An experienced teacher as well as performer, Kimber’s love of music, first kindled by the Texas Style fiddling she grew up with, gives her a strong desire to share her knowledge and passion with others. Kimber is a regular at fiddle contests all of over the country, and is a 3-time Washington State, 3-time NW Regional, a 2-time Colorado State, and previous National Jr. Fiddle Champion. She has consistently placed as a finalist in both the Grand National and Grand Master Fiddle Competitions.
